πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ† And The Winners Are... Top 5 Newsletters of 2024

March 07, 2025β€’3 min read

It's Award Season...

Each year I go back through all the newsletters from the previous year and pick out the 5 most popular.

I want to always be providing the information important to you, not just what I think you need to know.

It's insightful to see which newsletters you responded most too. And, that is the criteria - which ones received the most questions, comments, etc.

Whatever inspires you to action, is the most effective.

So here they are - the Best of 2024. (Links in the headline)

1) Who are your Top 50 Networking Partners?

IMHO, the pandemic reminded us how important human connection, supporting hyper-local, and good old-fashioned networking truly are.

It's Golden.

Going forward, those that network the most effectively will be the most successful. It is a skill, anyone can learn it. And, it takes effort and time.

Business IS personal. It comes out of relationship and trust.

Regular conversations with your people IS how you find opportunities.

2) Do You Have a Fear of "Putting Yourself Out There?"

You are "out there."

You can continue to be fearful and a "victim," Or, you can take control of what people are finding out about you.

You get to choose.

The fact is, your prospects have their minds 70% of the way made up BEFORE they contact you.

3) LinkedIn Wins and Losses in 2024 and What I think about 2025

My best advice for you is -

Take full advantage of Optimization. If you want to learn more about this and how it might help you, use my scheduling link below. I have a package for Optimization only. It's a nice upgrade.

Definitely Verify your Profile. Well worth the 5 minutes to do so.

Post more video, once a week is great

Do LinkedIn Lives Quarterly. This is a whole Strategy that should be well thought out and tied to Business Objectives. I wouldn't invest that kind of time and effort lightly.

4) What If You Get hacked?

Who is most likely to get hacked?

They seem to target inactive accounts. If you haven't logged into your account in a while, DO SO RIGHT NOW. Get into the habit of logging in once a week at the least.

Hackers are patient. They 'observe' accounts for a long time. And, when they hack, they enable two-step verification with their own phone. You have no chance of accessing with help internally from LinkedIn.

Weak passwords are also easy prey.

5) Are You Struggling to Create Content?

LinkedIn says, less than 1% of it's membership is sharing 4 - 5 Xs per week. There is SO MUCH opportunity.

And less than 3% are using LI well.

Especially when you consider how low the quality of that content is.

Seriously.

It takes so little to impress your audience if you truly are sharing valuable content.

What does this tell me?

The basics are still the most important things to share.

Many of you want to share content and are just bewildered by it.

Getting hacked is a real fear. And, it's easy to prevent.

LinkedIn IS a networking tool and that's how you are using it. Any help I can give is still valuable. Updates about anything that has to do with content and business development is what you want to see.

Thank you so much for reading my newsletter and for all the comments and feedback! I value all of it!

Let me know if there is topic you would like me to tackle. and...

Until next time...

Angela
