If you are organized and committed - it turns out A LOT.
What can you get done on LinkedIn in 10 minutes a day?
It might amaze you how much you can get done to create and nurture relationships in 10 minutes a day.
You won't do all of these everyday, but here we go!
Who's Viewed Your Profile - You only need to do this once or twice a week. With Basic(free) LI, you can see the last 5 people that have checked you out. Some of them you can ignore. But, if they are someone you met networking, a possible prospect or referral partner, reach back. Invite them to connect. I get great connections, speaking engagements, and business from this.
Who has a birthday, work anniversary, etc - Again, it's not so often it will be someone important, so you can work thru this quickly. I love getting messages from my network. It's a nice way to stay in touch.
Cruise thru the newsfeed and like and comment - 5 to 10 minutes twice a week. Get you name into the newsfeed and support your clients, referral partners and colleagues. This increases your visibility greatly.
Send a personal message to 3 people - at least once a week. Let people know you are thinking about them. Send an article. Send a gif if you know them well. Be a real human being.
Reply to all relevant messages - Keep the conversation going. I know too many people that get behind on this and lose opportunities.
"Accept" or "Ignore" all invitations - So important to stay on top of this also. If someone important sent you an invitation and you respond a month later - they don't remember who you are. Another opportunity lost.
Repost an article with your thoughts - Huge increase in visibility. You're reading articles all the time anyway. What's interesting about it? Why should anyone else care? Share your take.
And that's it!
Do those 7 things on repeat daily and weekly and you will have a different experience of LinkedIn.
Even if you do this 3 times/week, and get yourself into the habit, it can significantly change your business development results.
Be seen, be friendly, be relevant.
